"Sawra", the first project of women for the Middle East association, is not only the name of the Syrian woman who is supported with it. "Sawra" means "revolution" in Arabic. So this name stands for what our association stands for: for women who want to give their lives a new turn with strength, courage, and ideas in the sense of an individual revolution and who want to free themselves from deadlocked constraints and lack of prospects.
