Our representative, Tahora, had the chance to personally meet with Humira Saqib, a Women's right activist and the director of the Afghan women news agency, the sole news agency in Afghanistan which focuses on women's issues.
Saqib emphasized the importance of educating and qualifying the young generation. She stressed the importance of bringing gender balance to the workplace by increasing the focus on building women's professional competencies. "The world is going toward innovation and technology. We need qualified women who have technical competences."
